Fun fact of the day. In 1959, the Iowa Supreme Court ruled in Moffett v Moffett that a man indeed had the right to spank his wife and that being spanked was not a good reason for a woman to file for divorce. I've searched high and low to see if this precedent had ever been overturned. It hasn't.
Which means that the precedent still stands today. So if you want to practice DD, move to Iowa! You just may have a good legal defense, should it ever come to that 😀
