So guys.... I have LONG sought a way for the DD crowd to have true community. And I may be getting ahead of myself, but I think I have a way to help make this happen. Here's how.....
I know that a lot of you have "side hustles" outside of your normal jobs. What if I allow you to advertise your products and business here under a concept I call TDDF. What TDDF means is Traditional Domestic Discipline Friendly. Which essentially means that you either practice TDD yourself, or you're ok with people who do practice it. You could label yourself as a TDDF business, and no one will know what that means except those in the know.
Now, I will not allow this page to turn into a flurry of advertisements. That's not what this page is for. And you will have to be a regular contributor to the conversations that take place in this group in order to advertise your products and services here. But if you wanna advertise your products or services once or twice a week, be my guest. I know that, for myself, I would much rather support the business of a fellow TDD'er who sells home decorations (or whatever) than to support someone on Amazon who does the same.
I don't have this fully thought out yet. Perhaps I'll eventually create a website specifically designed to help fellow TDD'ers find and support each others businesses. But I feel like this would help us in the DD community to create real community with each other. It will help us to bond with each other beyond our common belief in the right to discipline one's wife or girlfriend.
Some variations of the term TDDF are acceptable. For example, you could call yourself CDDF (Christian Domestic Discipline Friendly), or simply DDF. Or, if you wanted to use a business with your real name attached to it, you could use the acronym TGRF (Traditional Gender Role Friendly). But I use TDDF because its the most inclusive of everyone who believes in traditional Domestic Discipline.
Anyway, please let me know. Would love some feedback on this. Is this a good idea?
